Earthling Never Existed.
We started this band to stand on stage in front of an audience of people who just seem to happen upon what’s happening without knowing if it’s really happening. We started this band to stand on stage in front of an audience of people who have never read a book by Iceberg Slim, Haruki Murakami or Bret Easton Ellis. Who have never seen Mulholland Drive, A Bout De Souffle or Hana Bi. Who know how to move small objects without actually touching them. Who have never been to The Social Club in Paris, France. Who have taught themselves how to be invisible. Who go through their nights without diagrams. Who have not acquired the usual open wounds that have plagued the dreams and aspirations of generation after generation ever since Rimbaud lost his leg, Bambi lost his way and Nijinsky lost his mind.
We went away to live in other cities, read other books, film other people, join other bands, open other wounds, sleep in other dust.
We came back to rid ourselves of the insomnia, the nausea, the past and the cold journey to the end of every day and night. We came back to incubate the third album, Insomniacs' Ball.
