lyrics

They say my statements are strange and I guess they’re right,
I keep looking for infinity inside the light,
When everybody knows it’s in the shadows,
I’m in the corner with this broken piano.
I put my neck in the noose but forget what for,
I get down put on my shoes then I go to war,
I’m that blind man at the boxing match,
I’m sitting in the front row listening to your bones crack,
I see my friends, I watch them changing,
I feel sick because I can’t do the same thing,
I’m getting old and my bones are breaking frequently,
I’m breathing in, breathing out but not so easily,
It’s like it never happened but how is that,
One day you went insane and took your kids back,
Now everybody’s asking if I’m leaving but this city’s in the blood that I’m breathing

I’m at the last frontier, I’m nowhere bound and when I leave you here, I’m never gonna turn around.
I’m at the last frontier, I’m nowhere bound and when I leave you here, I’m never gonna turn around.

It was simpler than I thought walking out of court,
I kept my trap shut and didn’t tell them what I saw,
Last year was full of hate, I don’t know where it went,
I smash my face everyday but it don’t make no dents and I’m the only one who writes you letters now,
Since we found out they’re never gonna let you out,
Now everybody’s asking if I’m leaving but this city’s in the blood that I’m breathing

I’m at the last frontier, I’m nowhere bound and when I leave you here, I’m never gonna turn around.
I’m at the last frontier, I’m nowhere bound and when I leave you here, I’m never gonna turn around.

about

Earthling Paris, France

Earthling's 1st LP Radar was released in 1995. An intoxicating mix of raw Hip Hop production, live instrumentation and off the wall rhymes, it was heralded as the next step in the progression of the Bristol based Trip Hop groups, showcasing an expansive & playful psychedelia.

In 2008 the pair were working together again & the resultant album Insomniacs' Ball was released at the start of 2011.
